1. Agreement
By downloading, purchasing, or using Pocket Chime Alerm, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Your license to the iOS app is also governed by the Apple Standard End User License Agreement. If these terms conflict with that agreement on a matter Apple controls, the Apple agreement applies.
2. The service
The app provides alarm, timer, stopwatch, clock, optional weather and calendar context, Light Check, themes, and game-related features. Available features can depend on your device, iOS version, region, permissions, network connection, Apple services, and purchase status.
We may maintain, update, add, remove, or discontinue features when needed for reliability, security, legal compliance, or product development. We do not promise that every feature will be available at all times or on every device.
3. Purchases, subscriptions, and trials
Purchases are offered and billed by Apple through the App Store. The price, currency, tax, and exact billing period displayed in the Apple purchase sheet before confirmation control your transaction.
Monthly and Yearly subscriptions
Monthly and Yearly plans are auto-renewing subscriptions. A subscription renews unless you cancel it through your Apple account at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Apple charges renewal according to the price and terms shown for your account.
3-day free trial
A 3-day free trial may be available for the Monthly and Yearly plans only when Apple determines that you are eligible. The app does not calculate or grant trial eligibility itself. The trial begins after you confirm the subscription in the Apple purchase sheet. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, Apple charges the subscription price shown at confirmation.
Lifetime purchase
Lifetime is a one-time, non-consumable purchase for access to the included Pro features for the supported life of the app. Lifetime does not include a free trial and is not a recurring subscription.
Management, restoration, and refunds
You can manage or cancel a subscription from your Apple account. Use Restore Purchases in the app to request restoration of eligible purchases associated with the same Apple account. Apple controls billing, refund eligibility, and refund decisions; submit refund requests through Apple.
4. Alarm and safety limitations
Pocket Chime Alerm is a convenience tool, not an emergency service. Alarm, timer, weather, calendar, notification, camera, and watch functions can be delayed, muted, interrupted, or unavailable because of device settings, focus modes, volume, power, permissions, system limits, software failure, network conditions, or third-party services.
Do not use the app as the only alarm or notification for safety-critical situations, medical needs, medication, caregiving, travel deadlines, hazardous work, or emergencies. Keep an independent backup appropriate to the consequence of a missed alert and verify alarms on your own device.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the app unlawfully or to harm, harass, or deceive another person;
- interfere with the app, App Store billing, entitlement checks, or related services;
- attempt to bypass purchase restrictions or technical protections;
- reverse engineer or redistribute the app except where applicable law expressly permits it; or
- use the app in a way that infringes another person's rights.
You are responsible for the device, Apple account, permissions, alarm settings, and content you choose to connect to the app.
6. Ownership, disclaimers, and liability
The app, its original design, software, and content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms grant only the limited, personal license needed to use the app under the Apple license terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of or inability to use the app. Any limitation applies only to the extent allowed by the law that applies to you.
7. Changes, termination, and contact
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the app, purchases, law, or our operations. The effective date above will change when the terms change. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept them where permitted by law.
You may stop using the app at any time. Deleting the app does not cancel an App Store subscription; cancellation must be completed through your Apple account. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security, or legal requirements.
